About Company

Linden Preservation Services, Inc. (est. 2017) is an international leader in the application of material science and research to the built cultural heritage sector, with a background in materials preservation, energy-efficient operation of buildings and mechanical systems, preventive conservation practices and strategies, and strategic planning for collections environments. We provide sustainable preservation services and consulting to the cultural heritage sector, including museums, libraries, archives, parks, records centers, and allied organizations.

Whether through environmental optimization studies, design consultations, or initial preservation, system, and building assessments, our goal is to help institutions achieve a holistic environmental solution that provides appropriate preservation conditions while minimizing energy costs, utilizing operational strategies that the institution can sustain. Our approach focuses on the understanding that preservation of cultural heritage and of the planet go hand in hand – that the appropriate combined application of materials science and mechanical operation can achieve both long-term collections preservation as well as sustainability goals that are tailored to the needs and capabilities of the specific organization.
